Phonemic Awareness Kit (Beginners)

This innovative Phonemic Awareness Kit will provide Spanish-speaking children (Grades K+) with all the hands-on benefits of Reading Rods®! This kit has been carefully configured especially for native Spanish speakers at the elementary school level. Following the best practices and most recent scientific research on Spanish language acquisition, this kits offers systematically ordered lessons with diverse activities that will appeal to various learning styles. Lesson plans are written in English with scripting in Spanish. Lessons are designed to be used with individual students or an entire class. Activity Cards can be used with up to four students.

This kit emphasizes phonemic awareness and is the perfect place to start with pre-emergent readers to learn letters, syllables and sounds. All the letters of the alphabet are taught in this kit, as are open syllables (ma, me, mi, mo, mu).
